Built for aviation.
Coming in from the
commercial side.
I went solo at 16. The plan was a flying career — until COVID grounded most of the industry and changed the maths on that completely. I didn't leave aviation though. I just redirected.
Since then I've been finishing a Bachelor of Business majoring in Finance at Massey University in Auckland, alongside Aviation Management coursework. I'm also managing a personal equities portfolio, was on the Massey Investment Club committee, and have spent the last few years working in warehouse operations — including stepping up as acting team leader when my manager left unexpectedly.
The goal is Melbourne 2027. I want to enter aviation from the commercial side — strategy, finance, operations — places where a business background actually compounds with industry knowledge rather than sitting next to it.
This site is where I write about what I'm working on, thinking about, and doing. Nothing too polished.
